Trinity Volunteer program
Trinity Rehab & Wellness is a multidisciplinary Healthcare Clinic situated in a medical building in Etobicoke, ON. Our 2200Sq ft state of the art facility is ideally located in the heart of Etobicoke, ON, very near to major highways, makes it reachable in minutes from anywhere in GTA, functioning 7 days a week, easily accessible location with handicap parking, ramp & amp, doors. We have been providing services to the community since 2019 and entertaining patients with injuries and impairments, we are providing direct billing to all Extended healthcare insurances, (MVA) Motor vehicle accident insurances and (WSIB) Workplace Insurance of Ontario.
Trinity Rehab & Wellness offers a unique Volunteer program which provide guidance, training, needful knowledge and skill set to volunteers looking to progress their careers in administration of clinical settings.
Program Detail:
- Duration: 200 Hours (within 3 months max)
- Upon Completion: Certification Awarded
- Compensation: Volunteers are not entitled for any compensation
Role & Responsibilities:
Role: Volunteer will be trained and assist to Front Desk Officer & Admin Assistant.
Responsibilities: To Assist Administrative and Front Desk Staff, i.e., Greet and welcome patients, schedule patients and healthcare providers, telecommunication, drafting, faxing, scheduling appointments, billing, paperwork, filing, understanding of EHC, WSIB & MVA, preparation of treatment rooms, house keeping, sanitization and dis-infection protocols.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent Communication skills (Must be fluent in English)
- Should be familiar with Information technology, social media skills will be considered as an asset.
- Candidates with medical background or having Physiotherapy degree/diploma will be preferred.
- Should have good time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work extended hours & Weekends
